Julian Brashears is already an accomplished performer at 14 years old. His acting and singing credits include Inherit the Wind at Playhouse 1960; Wonderland! at UpStage Theatre; The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, The Reluctant Dragon, Winnie-the-Pooh, A Little House Christmas, and Caroline, or Change at Main Street Theater; The Secret Garden and cabaret productions of Memories of Irving Berlin and The Music of Victor Herbert for Bayou City Concert Musicals; The Nerd, Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp, Charlotte’s Web and Jack and the Beanstalk at the Company OnStage; and two seasons of A Christmas Carol at the Alley Theatre.

Julian also recently completed filming for Eye Candy, Inc.'s The Care Taker, and was also featured in the Boy Scouts of America 100th Anniversary video presentation by Gotham Image Works. He has also been featured in a television commercial for the Alley Theatre’s Young Performers Studio.

He was the Grand Prize Winner of Pearland’s 2008 Let Freedom Sing vocal talent search competition, and sang "God Bless America" at the Celebration of Freedom on July 4, 2008 in front of a crowd of approximately 4,000 people.

Julian sang the National Anthem at the opening of two of the live racing events of the 2009 American Quarter Horse Meet at Sam Houston Race Park. He also sang the National Anthem at the opening of three matches in the Houston Polo Club's 81st Spring Season in 2009, and at the opening of three matches in the Houston Polo Club's 80th Fall Season in 2008. He also sang the National Anthem at the opening ceremonies for Pearland’s Winterfest event in January 2008 and January 2009.

Julian began taking theatre classes at Main Street Theater in 2003 at the age of 6, and continued in various theatre camps and classes there throughout the next two years. He attended the Alley Theatre's Young Performers Studio in the summer of 2006. In addition to his extensive theatre training, Julian has studied voice with Bettye Gardner, and with Dr. Sharon Radionoff at Sound Singing Institute. He has also been active in both drama and choir at school. In 2009, he received scholarships for Jef Johnson's Clown Lab Intensive Workshop, the Art of Opera Camp at Houston Grand Opera, and the Filmmaking Class at Main Street Theater.

He is an accomplished musician, playing guitar, mandolin and ukulele. He composed original music and played mandolin for the dance segment of Main Street Youth Theater's 2008 production of A Little House Christmas. He also composed original music for the song "Lamp of Aladdin" and played guitar for Company OnStage's 2008 production of Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp. In October 2008, he performed a 3-song set in The Show: An Eclectic Evening of Artistic Expression at Dean's Nightclub in Houston.
